A hairdresser has thanked his loyal customers after being named in a list of the top 10 barbers in the region.

Bad Company Barbers is one of 10 battling it out to be named the region’s best in the Lancashire Telegraph competition.

Bad Company Barbers launched seven years ago inside Salvage House. For the past five years, it has been welcoming customers to a purpose-built barbers shop in Abbott Works on Back King Street, in the heart of Whalley.

Since it launched, it has become one of the most sought-after stylists in the county.

Jonnie Shaw, who runs the barbers, completed his NVQ Level 3 at Blackburn College and then went on to train with some of the biggest names in the industry and gained an accreditation as a British Master Barber.

He said: “We are thrilled to announce that Bad Company Barbers has been shortlisted in the top 10.

“None of this would be possible without our loyal client base and we owe everything to them. We also have a fantastic young barber called Andy Nicholas, whose popularity is growing at a rapid rate.”

The business has been actively supporting charitable causes and in the past worked with organisations such as Gorilla Barbering who help raise money for homeless charity’s such as Shelter.

Jonnie added: “At Bad Company Barbers, we strive to provide the best service and experience for our amazing customers, and your votes remind us that we’re on the right track.

“Thank you for being a part of our community and for trusting us with your grooming needs.”

Voting in the Best Barbers competition is open until Saturday, July 5, and you can cast your vote by picking up a copy of the Lancashire Telegraph.

Over the coming days, each finalist will be profiled to show why it deserves your vote and to be named East Lancashire’s best.
